Meet Berk Demirbulakli – Vice President Tiger Bay

Meet Berk Demirbulakli, the new Vice President of the Board for Tiger Bay as well as business Coach and entrepreneur! We are excited to have him on the team and look forward to growing Tiger Bay in 2023!

Also known as Coach Berk, he is a leader in the insurance industry and is an Insurance Agency Owner (Allstate Agency under The Berk Insurance Agency) and Executive Business Consultant with Hundreds of Clients including CEO’s, Independent Insurance Agents, and Insurance Agency Owners.

He loves meeting with owners and making a plan for them to turn their businesses around or simply grow their businesses. After all, it’s a challenging time to be in the insurance business. According to Berk, “price fluctuations and recent legal costs surrounding claims in Florida have presented cost cutting and raising of all prices of insurance costs across the board.”

But he’s hopeful to see what the next five years brings. He sees “a significant swing in self insurance with younger people with lower assets as well as people with significant assets looking for more protection and guidance with an Insurance Agent.”

In addition to owning an insurance agency and coaching, he also owns a game truck business, Extreme Game Truck! It’s been very popular for birthday parties, neighborhood gatherings, school functions, etc.

He’s known Bryan since moving to the area six years ago. Their boys played baseball together, so when Bryan approached Berk about joining the Tiger Bay team, it was a no-brainer! Tiger Bay is appealing to Berk because of the non-partisan nature of the club. He believes we can all have “Non-partisan discussions with people in our community. The more people you speak to the more you realize we all just want a great place to live and give our children a great future. It doesn’t matter what political affiliation you are.”

Berk is married to his wife Abbie and has twins, Alexander and Ava, who are currently freshmen at Ponte Vedra High School as well as Maximus who is in 8th grade at Landrum. He is inspired daily by his family and currently lives in Ponte Vedra Beach.
