September Luncheon – Vicky Oakes

Tiger Bay welcomes Vicky Oates as our September luncheon speaker! Vicky’s career in the Election office spans 34 years. She has served as the Supervisor of Elections in St. Johns County for the past 11 years and Asst. Supervisor for 23 years.
Vicky is a hands-on supervisor who has done every job in the office (except IT!). Her broad experience provides knowledge required to lead her staff in all aspects of the operations necessary to provide quality and cost effective elections. She is committed to conducting fair, accurate, open, and transparent elections, and to ensuring the right of every voter to cast their ballot and to know that it has been counted.
Cybersecurity and protection of our network and assets are critical and remain her number one priority. She has great relationships with state and federal partners in this endeavor.

Nationally Certified Election/Registration Administrator (CERA)
State of Florida Certified Supervisor of Elections
Master Florida Certified Elections Professional (MFCEP)
A Florida native who has lived in St. Johns Count for over 40 years, Vicky counts it an honor to serve as your supervisor of Elections.
