Raised as a Navy dependent\, Kim Kendall grew up on Naval Stations in places like Guantanamo Bay\, Cuba and Subic Bay\, Philippines. Kim graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Public Relations and went on to become an Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration. That is where she met her husband of 30 years\, Kelly\, who also worked as a controller\, and the two of them owned two dry cleaners in Jacksonville. \nIn 2001\, they moved to St. Johns County to put their children through the County’s excellent public schools. Kim’s children motivated her to become extremely active at the state level and in the community successfully addressing critical infrastructure\, education and family value issues. \nNoteworthy State work includes: writing legislation\, lobbying alongside the Florida Family Policy Council\, serving on two State-appointed education task forces\, serving as the State Education Chair for the Florida Federation of Republican Women\, Chairing a statewide literacy initiative involving 150 elementary schools and bringing on board Lt. The kennel has the capacity to hold 150 Service Dogs-in-training and is one of the largest kennels in the country! Their new CEO\, Carl Cricco\, is the speaker for this meeting. \n \nPrior to joining K9s\, Carl worked at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum as a senior vice president of\nmarketing\, ensuring the stories from that day were never forgotten. Living just blocks from the Twin Towers on September 11\, 2001\, that day left an indelible mark\, as it did for many. He has spent much of his career ensuring Americans never forget 9/11\, and at K9s For Warriors\, he is committed to ensuring those who fought in conflicts resulting from that day and others\, are also not forgotten. \n \nBefore taking on the role of chief executive officer\, Carl was the chief marketing and development officer at K9s for two years\, effectively sharing the incredible impact of the K9s mission on both veterans and dogs — also increasing revenues by 70% in a one-year period. Carl has spent the last ten years in executive leadership\, primarily in marketing with previous work featured by the Wall Street Journal and Advertising Week. \nEarly in his career\, Carl worked at leading media companies\, including ABC News. Cricco holds a B.A. from New York University and an M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business\, where he specialized in marketing. He was born and raised in Hoboken\, NJ\, and although he misses his local Italian deli and not needing a car to get around\, he wouldn’t trade the Florida sun to get those things back. He is a family man\, spending much of his free time with his two-year-old son and amazing wife Emily.

Her broad experience provides knowledge required to lead her staff in all aspects of the operations necessary to provide quality and cost effective elections. She is committed to conducting fair\, accurate\, open\, and transparent elections\, and to ensuring the right of every voter to cast their ballot and to know that it has been counted. \nCybersecurity and protection of our network and assets are critical and remain her number one priority.
